Opening a Training course on “Finance Management and Internal Audit"

Based on the survey of training demand of VWSA&;s members in 2014; comments from companies on the Training Outline on Finance Management an Internal Audit for leaders at companies; the VWSA has organized a training course on Finance Management and Audit and Enterprises with the support of DEVIWAS Project. The 3-day training course was held at Academy of Managers for Construction and Cities (AMC) from 4 – 6/6/2015.
 
Mr. Tran Quang Hung – Vice Chairman of VWSA, Mr. Pham Xuan Dieu – Head of Training Department, VWSA, Mr. Tran Huu Ha – Director of AMC and Ms. Phan Thu Hien – DEVIWAS Assistant attended the course.  .
30 members which are directors, deputy directors, accountant and managers from 16 water supply and sewerage companies participated in the course. Trainers of the course are Assocs. Prof. Nghiem Si Thuong – Faculty of Economic and Management, Hanoi University of Technology and Dr. Le Quang Binh – Deputy Director of State Audit Department.  
The training course aimed to provide basic knowledge on finance management and audit with 8 main topics: Overview of finance management, finance analysis at companies, basement of long – term finance investment decisions, finance planning, overview of auditing financial report, information collection and planning for auditing financial report, implementing financial report audit and preparing audit report of financial report.  
Knowledge gained at the course was highly appreciated by trainees, as finance management and audit play important roles in operating the enterprises. Certificates were handed – over to trainees at the end of the course.
