Training on teaching methods for staff working in enterprises (TOT2)

From 18 – 21 Dec 2018, in Hanoi, with the support of the DEVIWAS Project, the Training Center under Vietnam Water Supply and Sewerage Association (VWSA) organized the second Training Course on Teaching Methods for staff working in enterprises (TOT2).
 

There were 23 trainees coming from 11 VWSA member enterprises with the guidance of experienced lecturers from national Academy of Public Administration.

The training course aimed at improving the teaching methods for staff working in the enterprise and meeting the standards of the current teaching regulations. Participants learned an overview of positive teaching methods, principles to achieve effective and appealing lessons such as writing on-the-board comments, Q&A, screening technique, role-playing, questioning technique, knowledge anchoring with questions, presentation skills.

In order to organize an effective class, the trainees were also instructed and practiced the necessary skills such as multi-dimensional discussion skills in the classroom, lesson planning skills, commenting skills, answering skills, presentation and communication skills, appropriate posture and gesture of lecturers.
 

 
The training course was successfully conducted with the activeness of all involvers, particularly the active trainer-trainee interaction and sharing of teaching practices. All participants highly appreciated the training curriculum as well as the trainers' delivery skills. At the end of the training, trainees were awarded certificates by the VWSA.
