Ho Chi Minh - 12/11/2014 - To speed up the rate of equitization at water supply companies, the Vietnam Water Supply and Sewerage Association (VWSA) has cooperated with DEVIWAS Project and Southern Water Supply Branch to organize a seminar on this topic.
Mr. Tran Quang Hung - Vice Chairman of VWSA, Mr. Dinh Chi Duc - Head of Souther Water Supply Branch, Mr. Nguyen Tien Thoa - Former Director of Price Managemnt Agency, Ministry of Finance, Dr. Wummel Heinz Juergen - Managing Director of Sachsen Wasser GmbH and more than 100 directors and deputy directors of water supplies companies nationwide have joined the seminar.
At the seminar, particpants discussed about the state of equitization at water supply compnaies and the process of equitization according the current regulations.
According to report, from 2007 - 2013, 35/90 compnaies have been equitized. The equitzation brings positive progress for companies and increases the income of companies. These are positive signs for the equitization process.
Relating to regulations of equitization, Mr. Dang Quyet Tien - Former Director briefed Resolution No. 15/2014 and Decision No. 51/2014 on implementing equitization process at state enterprises.
Representative from Petrolum Joint Stock Company have analyzed in details steps for the implementation of equitization according to current regulation.
Dr. Wummel Heinz Juergen - Managing Director of Sachsen Wasser GmbH, Germany presented the process of equitization at Leipzig Water Facility (Germany) and lesson learnt from the process.
Participants highly appreciated the contents of the seminar, stressed that it gave a lot of valuable lesson learnt and experiences for the companies to implement equitization.
