Binh Duong, 23 - 24/7/2014 – The Vietnam Water Supply and Sewerage Association (VWSA), with the support of the Project German-Vietnamese Cooperation for the Competence Development of the Vietnamese Water Sector (DEVIWAs), sponsered by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) via SEQUA, has organized a training course on communication and dealing skills with customers for mỏe than 100 staffs at water supply - sewerage companies in the South, following the sucess of the course in the North. This is part of capacity buliding activities of DEVIWAS Project with the common objective of strengthening capacity of the water sector in Vietnam.
The training course was held at Binh Duong Water Supply - Sewerage - Environment Co., Ltd, with the participation of Mr. Tran Quang Hung - Vice Chairman of VWSA and Mr. Nguyen Dac Hoan - Manger of DEVIWAS Project.
At the training course, Dr. Pham Van Pho - Former Director of Training Center - Ministry of Planning and Investment introduced communication skills with customers; including basic principles of communication, characteristics of water supply and sewerage companies, how to communicate with customers, internal communication, customer services, etc. for staffs at custormer service departments at water supply - sewerage companies.
The course was highly appriciated by trainees, who were directors, deputy directors, head and deputy head of business and services departments at water supply - sewerage companies in the South. Due to characteristics of the water sector, most of staffs have not been trained with communciation and customer servcies skills. Therefore, the course was a valuable opportunies for trainees to gain basic knoweldge on communication and dealing with customers skills and applying in works. All of trainees expressed the hope to expand the course for other water supply - sewerage companies nationwide. At the end of the course, certificates were handed over to all participants.
On behalf of VWSA, Mr. Tran Quang Hung expressed the thanks for fully participation and valuable comments of trainnes, and said that the VWSA will consider to expand the training models to other VWSA's members in the time to come.
