The training on “Management on sewerage and wastewater treatment” was organized by VWSA and GWP under the DEVIWAS project on March 19 and 20, 2015. More than 30 technical staff and managers from 10 companies of Northern Sewerage Branch attended. Dr. Lothar Fuchs, Director of the Institute for Technical and Scientific Hydrology and Dr. Nguyen Viet Anh, President of the Institute of Environmental Science and Engineering (IESE) were the trainers.
After Mr. Viet Anh&;s presentation on “Assessement of current sewerage and wastewater treatment in the municipalities of Vietnam and recommendations”, Dr. Fuchs continued with German energy-saving technologies, experience of rain management in cities and sewer maintenance technologies.
This is one of the events (training technical workshops) which will be frequently organized in 2015 in North, Center and South under DEVIWAS, aiming to introduce and share practical experience and technologies applied in Germany in the water sector in general and sewerage in particular.
