Developing Waging Scale, Wage and Labor Planning following Decree No. 49/2013/ND – CP, 50/2013/ND – CP and 51/2013/ND – CP, Circular 18-19 of the Government, applying for water utilities

Hanoi, 17/10/2014 – The Vietnam Water Supply and Sewerage Association (VWSA), with the support of the Project German-Vietnamese Cooperation (GWP - VWSA) for the Competence Development of the Vietnamese Water Sector (DEVIWAs), sponsered by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) via SEQUA, has organized a training course on developing Waging Scale, Wage and Labor Planning for VWSA's members in the North. This is part of capacity buliding activities of DEVIWAS Project with the common objective of strengthening capacity of the water sector in Vietnam.
The training course was organized based on the demand of VWSA's members on how to develop waging scale, wage and labor planning following new decress issued by the Government.

Mr. Tran Quang Hung - Vice Chairman of VWSA opens the course

The course attracted the participation of 30 companies with more than 100 particpants. Speaking at the course, Mr. Tran Quang Hung - Vice Chairman of VWSA stressed the importance of understanding new decrees in the field of waging, to apply correctly in work, ensuring the rights of the employee.

The course was delivered by Mr. Hoang Minh Hao - Deputy Director of Labor - Wage Department, Ministry of Labor, War Valids & Social Affairs. Mr. Hao also answered concered from companies relating to issues raising from the implementation of the decrees.
