New book on “Treatment and Re-use of Wastewater”

In June 2019, Construction Publishing House released a new book on “Treatment and Re-use of Wastewater”. The book is done by the Vietnam Water Supply and Sewerage Association (VWSA), in collaboration with the National University of Civil Engineering with financial support from the Vietnam-Germany Cooperation Project on Capacity Building for Water sector in Vietnam (DEVIWAS).
 

 

The book was written by Prof. Dr. Nguyen Viet Anh - Head of VWSA Science and Technology Department, Director of Institute of Technology and Environment, Head of Department of Water Supply and Sewerage - National University of Civil Engineering,  together with the author team including Eng. Ung Thi Linh Chi, MSc. Vu Thi Minh Thanh, MSc. Nguyen Tra My.

With this publication, The Vietnam Water Supply and Sewerage Association (VWSA) aims to provide the most updated information on treated wastewater quality requirements, its treatment technologies and processes, re-use, as well as water quality standards,  and wastewater treatment measures for reuse. , organizational, managerial, economic, and financial aspects with some examples.

The book contains 472 page, devided into 3 following chapters:
Chapter 1: Applications of treated wastewater
Chapter 2: Wastewater treatment technologies for re-use
Chapter 3: Wastewater re-use management
 

 

This book is of high scientific and practical value, and therefore can be used as training materials, scientific research reference for undergraduate and postgraduate students at the University of Civil Engineering and other relevant universities, research institutes in the field of water engineering and environmental technology, as well as reference for relevant projects&;s planning and development.
