Training Course on Online Procurement, Ho Chi Minh 13-14 October 2018

In order to help water supply and drainage enterprises keep up with the latest regulations and practices on online procurement, with the financial support of DEVIWAS project, Vietnam Water Supply and Sewerage Association (VWSA) organized a training course on Online Procurement in Ho Chi Minh City on 13th and 14th October, 2018.
 

 
The training course attracted a total of 69 participants, who were representatives from project management units, managers for tendering/bidding, planning and business affairs, as well as procurement officers from water supply, drainage and environmental companies in Southern Vietnam. Trainers came from National Online Procurement Centre, Department of Procurement Management - Ministry of Planning and Investment.

During the two-day training, trainees were provided with the latest information, from overview to details, on online procurement, i.e. introduction to the National Procurement Network Portal and its key functions and information on the system; Joint-Ministerial Circular No. 07/2015/TTLT-BKHTT-BTC and regulations on online procurement; Registration & information publication for tendering/bidding; Processes of submitting tendering/bidding documents, opening & evaluation results, notice of successful bidders. At the same time, lecturer also guided trainees to prepare scenarios for online procurement simulation where trainees had opportunity to practise in role-plays as tenderers/bidders, and were answered all arising questions related to online procurement.

At the end of the course, trainees were given certificates on online procurement by the Ministry of Planning and Investment.
