Vietnam Water Supply and Sewerage Association to speed up the preparation of the 30th Anniversary Ceremony

In the morning of 4th May 2018, in Hanoi, the Vietnam Water Supply and Sewerage Association (VWSA) held the Extended Standing Committee Meeting to discuss on many activities, particularly the preparation for the celebration of 30th Anniversary of the Association (7/6/1988 - 7/6/2018), which is going to be held in Phu Tho in June. Attendance at the Conference was all the members of the Standing Committee. Chairman Cao Lai Quang chaired the meeting. 
 

The meeting discussed and listened to the opinions of the members of the Standing Committee and agreed on important issues related to the organization of the Anniversary, such as: Detailed Program of the Ceremony; The gratitude list of elders who have contributed greatly in the process of building and developing the Vietnam Water Supply Association; the Committee also proposed the list of excellent collectives and individuals to receive certificates of merit from the Ministry of Construction and the Vietnam Water Supply and Sewerage Association; report on the results of assessment and selection of typical water supply works.

On this occasion, International Cooperation Department of VWSA also reported on the Implementation Plan for the development of the strategic business development plan. This is an activity within the framework of the project "Developing Water Supply and Sanitation Sectors in Viet Nam through New Partnerships" between the Vietnam Water Supply and Sewerage Association and the Finnish Water Forum.
