The fourth quarter of 2017 has witnessed a number of cooperative activities between GWP and VWSA to consolidate the collaboration between Germany and Vietnam in water sector. These activities not only show that DEWIVAS is a practical project but also indicate the role of GWP as a German trustworthy partner of VWSA and Vietnam water sector.
The highlight of the last three month of 2017 is the 9th Vietwater Fair that took place from November 8 to 10 in Ho Chi Minh City. Vietwater 2017 also attracted the largest participation of German enterprises up to now, and especially the booth arranged by GWP, GIZ and 9 GWP&;s members was one of the biggest stalls and located in the centre of the fair.
Another important activity needs to be mentioned is the 3rd Germany – Vietnam water forum, an annual event of Vietwater. The forum is an example for the effective and long-termed cooperation of GIZ/WMP and GWP/DEVIWAS, the two representatives of German water sector in Vietnam.
